The Consilium Salwico NS-Isolator N1770 is a barrier that is located in a non hazardous area, and forms the interface to IS detectors and the other IS line units.
The NS-Isolator does not need a separate power supply. It is powered directly from the fire alarm panel via the loop/section cables, meaning that no extra cables are needed.
The NS-Isolator N1770 does not need an earth connection, so a routine inspection of the earth cable and connection is eliminated.
The N1770 has knock-out holes on the sides for the three included cable glands. The glands must be mounted on the short sides of the box.
