The Salwico HC100 A2-IS (038010) provides reliable heat detection in hazardous areas where intrinsic safety is required. The detector connects to the fire alarm system through an intrinsically safe interface, allowing it to operate safely in potentially explosive atmospheres. Using a fast-acting thermistor heat sensing element, the HC100 A2-IS constantly monitors the ambient temperature and responds quickly to temperature changes, helping to provide early warning of developing fire conditions.
