The KSB ACRIS Butterfly Valves are used in the most aggressive and corrosive applications like nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine gas (wet or dry), 35% hydrochloric acid, vinyl chloride monomer, and many more. The KSB ACRIS Valves replaces Plug, Ball and Gate Valves in many different applications, where tight sealing and reliability are a main concern.
The ACRIS Butterfly Valves are fully PFA Teflon lined valve for aggressive chemical and ultra-pure applications. The KSB ACRIS Valve is a maintenance free valve design which uses long life sleeve bearings and avoids the use of an adjustable packing gland.
The KSB ACRIS Valve is rated up to 150 psig and down to 0.0002 psia (full vacuum). The KSB ACRIS Valves are available in either a ductile iron lug or ductile iron wafer body. Standard PFA Teflon material the KSB ACRIS valves are DuPont grade 350, with 450HP available for ultra-pure applications.
