Noris VP5/VPT5 Measuring Transducer

The Noris VP5/VPT5 Measuring Transducer is designed to evaluate the temperature in a two-wire circuit.

The Noris VP5/VPT5 Measuring Transducer is designed to evaluate the temperature in a two-wire circuit. The resistance increases as the temperature rises, because of a platinum resistor that has a positive temperature coefficient. There is access to a trimming potentiometer to permit a line compensation to be applied for Pt100 RTD measuring transducers.

The PT1000 RTD’s do not require such compensation because line resistance can be neglected. For better adaption to the required measuring task four measuring ranges are prepared: -30 to +120°C, 0 to 120°C, 0 to 150°C, 0 to 200°C.
