The Testifire 25-001 is a remote control for use with the Testifire 1000 and Testifire 2000. In normal conditions, the generation of test stimuli starts when the Testifire is positioned over a detector and the infrared beam within the transparent cup is interrupted. Certain detectors (such as those with virtual chambers) have no physical features to cause stimuli generation to start. In this case, the Testifire 25-001 Infrared Remote Control can be used to initiate the test procedure.
The Testifire 25-001 is operated by aiming the LED towards the Testifire when it is at height and the control button is used to start/stop a test, and/or move on to the next test in the sequence.
