The Consilium Salwico EV-DP 040040 is an addressable smoke detector with a dual wavelength optical chamber. 2 light sources with different wavelengths are used, giving the Salwico 040040 a stable reaction to different kinds of smoke and making it insensitive to unwanted alarms caused by water steam.
The Salwico EV-DP is equipped with a OMNIVIEW 360° LED indicator, giving a clear, full 360° visibility of the red alarm indication. The addresses can be set with a special programming tool, and ranges from 1-254.
When mounted on a splash proof base, the EV-DP 040040 can be placed in harsh environments.
The Salwico EV-DP has a fine pitch net which improves the response to smoke and also reduces the amount of dust etc entering the detector. The EV-DP is equipped with an output for remote indiciation.
