The Apollo 45681-211APO is an Isolator Base. The 45681-211APO is unique and is designed to only accept the Apollo Isolator 55000-720APO.
The Apollo 45681-211APO is placed at intervals on the loop and ensures, in case of a short circuit, only the section between the isolators will be affected. When the short circuit is resolved, the isolators will automatically restore power and data to the isolated section. The isolator can only be used with the Apollo 45681-211APO, and will not fit a standard addressable base.
