Heat Detectors are designed to respond when convected thermal energy of a fire increases the temperature of a heat sensitive element. Heat Detectors have two main classifications of operation, Rate-of-Rise (RoR) and Fixed Temperature.
A fixed Heat Detector is the most common type, and will trigger an alarm when the surrounding air temperature exceeds the fixed temperature point. A Rate-of-Rise Heat Detector operates on a rapid rise in temperature, disregarding the starting temperature.
Lavastica International can supply a wide range of Heat Detectors worldwide, within a short period of time.
