The Apollo Discovery 58000-005APO is an Open-Area Sounder Visual Indicator with a red body and a red flash, and makes full use of the Discovery protocol. The 58000-005APO consists of a sounder, a beacon and a mounting base with short-circuit isolator for use with Discovery detection systems. The Apollo 58000-005APO is designed for use in indoor and open areas.
The 58000-005APO is used to provide an audible and visual warning of fire, and is controlled by the fire control panel with the Discovery Protocol. When the fire alarm system is being commissioned, a “Magnetic wand” can be used to adjust and test the 58000-005APO locally.
