FPSO Saxi Batuque – Flame and gas detection upgrade
In its capacity as a distributor of Simtronics, a part of Teledyne, Lavastica International maintains a substantial inventory of critical safety components, including Simtronics GD10-P gas detectors and Simtronics DF-TV7 flame detectors. Given the pivotal role these items play in safety systems, they are frequently in high demand from customers, often requiring urgent availability. This urgency was exemplified in a specific case involving SBM Offshore's FPSO "Saxi Batuque."
As distributor of Simtronics (part of Teledyne), Lavastica International stocks a large quantity of Simtronics GD10-P gas detectors and Simtronics DF-TV7 flame detectors. As these items are part of the all important safety system, they are often required urgently by our customers, which was also the case with SBM Offshore’s FPSO “Saxi Batuque”.
The FPSO required urgent replacement of a number of GD10-P fixed infrared gas detectors and older DM-TV6 flame detectors, for which Lavastica supplied the current model DF-TV7 IR3 flame detectors. All available from stock with a same day shipment.
