The Azcue LD is a self priming double suction centrifugal pump with integrated vacuum or electric priming pump, designed for areas where suction conditions may be difficult. For long distances, the Azcue LD should be selected thanks to its ability to dry run for short periods of time.
The Azcue LD is a split casing pump, which is essentially a single stage centrifugal pump with a double suction impeller supported between bearings, splitting the pump case into two separate chambers. This double suction design means that the LD is capable of much higher flow rates at lower pressures than alternative vertical centrifugal pumps, making them suitable for high volume transfer of thin, clean fluids like water.
