The Crowcon Hydra Addressable Gas Detection System is specifically designed to monitor toxic and/or flammable gas hazards, especially in car park applications. The Hydra monitors for petrol vapour, LPG, carbon monoxide or nitrogen dioxide.
Addressable gas detection systems cost far less to install than conventional point-to-point systems. The cable and installation/labour cost savings are often greater than the cost of the gas detection system. The Crowcon Hydra is available in two versions, allowing connection of a maximum of 32 or 256 detectors to a single panel via addressable RS-485 loops.
The Crowcon Hydra has a bright and clear display that shows shows gas levels as well as alarm and fault status. The control panel has simple push-button operation and there is a plug-in calibration tool for gas detectors.
