The Spectrex SharpEye 40/40UFL is an UV/IR High Speed Optical Flame Detector. The Spectrex 40/40UFL is designed for High-speed Response (20 msec) and high reliability.
The Spectrex 40/40UFL senses radiant energy in the short wave section of both the UV and IR portions of the Electromagnetic Spectrum. The signals of both the sensors are analyzed for frequency, intensity and duration. When radiant energy is detected in both the UV and IR sensors, an alarm is triggered.
