The Consilium Salwico NS-SCI N11891 is an analogue addressable short circuit isolator, for the NSAC-1 and CS4000 fire alarm systems. The fire detection loops are divided into fire detection zones by short circuit isolators. If a short circuit occurs on a loop cable, the zone with the short circuit is disconnected from the rest of the loop by the SCI units that are mounted in the beginning and in the end of the zone.
When a short circuit is detected, a yellow LED on the PCB is lit. The LED will remain lit until the fault has been resolved and reset at the control panel.
