The Tyco 801AP 516.800.918 is a MX Service Tool, designed to assist in the installation, commissioning, diagnostics and service of Tyco MX Fire Detection Systems. The 801AP allows all of the MX addressable devices to be interrogated, tested and programmed. It has a 32 character backlit LCD alphanumeric display, arranged in 2 rows of 16 characters and 4 sofkeys.
The Tyco 801AP is operated using standard rechargeable batteries, and is suitable for desktop or single handed operation. An accessory pack provides alternative straps, and cigarette lighter adaptor. The 801AP 516.800.918 MXService tool has a finite life time after which the software must be recharged by an MX authorized administrator.
