The Scorpion SCORP1011-001 Point Smoke Detector Tester with Access Point. Provides a permanent, code-compliant solution for functional testing of hard-to-access point smoke detectors.

Installed next to the detector and connected to an accessible access point. It allows engineers to perform smoke tests safely from ground level without the need for specialist access equipment. The system generates a consistent, detector-friendly smoke stimulus with adjustable test duration and a clearing function for faster reset and fewer repeat alarms. Compatible with optical (photoelectric) and ionisation smoke detectors from leading manufacturers. It delivers over 240 tests per head unit and supports installations up to 100 metres from the access point, making it ideal for both retrofit and new fire detection systems.
