The Scorpion1001-001 provides a permanent and convenient solution for testing hard-to-access point smoke detectors.
By installing the test head directly alongside the detector, engineers can perform functional smoke tests quickly and safely.
Furthermore, the system supports both ionisation and optical (photoelectric) smoke detectors, including detectors used in smoke-activated fire door closing systems. To ensure reliable operation and maintain system integrity, Scorpion uses its own dedicated cabling, keeping the testing system completely independent from the fire detection network.
