Consilium Salwico NS-AOHS-IS I.S. Optical Smoke/Heat Detector N11250

The Consilium Salwico NS-AOHS-IS (N11250) is an intrinsically safe analogue addressable multisensor detector designed for use in challenging environments where reliable fire detection and explosion protection are required. Compatible with Salwico fire alarm systems, the detector combines advanced smoke and heat detection technologies to provide reliable fire protection in challenging applications.

The detector monitors its surroundings using two independent sensing elements. An optical smoke sensor quickly detects the presence of smoke particles, while an integrated heat sensing element monitors temperature changes and responds to developing fire conditions. By using both sensing technologies in a single device, the NS-AOHS-IS provides high performance and improved reliability.

When the detector identifies an alarm condition, it immediately uses its red LED indicator, making personnel able to quickly locate the source of the alarm. The LED remains lit until the fire alarm control panel resets the alarm, making sure the activated detector can be easily identified during emergency response and maintenance activities.

Furthermore, engineers can easily change the detector address using the integrated DIP switch mounted on the rear of the detector, simplifying installation and commissioning.

The NS-AOHS-IS connects to the addressable detector loop through the Salwico ISOLATOR-A (Part No. N1790). Up to 20 intrinsically safe addressable devices can be connected to a single ISOLATOR-A interface, providing an efficient solution for dangerous area fire detection systems.
