Furthermore, the test lamp comes with rechargeable batteries and a battery charger, providing a useful and mobile solution for routine testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Before testing, switch on the flame detector and place all alarm outputs in override mode to prevent unwanted system activations. Next, switch on the Salwico 001155 UV Test Lamp and aim it at the detector from within the specified range. The detector will recognise the UV signal and indicate an alarm condition by turning on its red LED. Most Salwico UV flame detectors respond within 30 seconds.
