Tyco 601H-M Heat Detector 516.600.213

The Tyco 601H-M Heat Detector 516.600.213 is obsolete and is replaced by the Tyco 712H 516.900.104 Fixed 60°C Heat Detector.

The Tyco Heat Detectors offer an acceptable, but less sensitive alternative to Smoke Detectors if environmental conditions rule out their use. The Tyco 601HR-M Rate-of-Rise (516.600.203) and 601HF-M fixed temperature (516.600.213) Detectors detect abnormally high rates of rise of temperature and abnormally high (static) temperatures respectively.

For general use and particularly where the ambient temperature may be low, a Rate-of-Rise Tyco 601H-R-M Heat Detector is to be preferred. A fixed temperature limit is also incorporated in these Detectors.
