The Oldham iTrans is a Gas Transmitter which is enclosed within an explosion-proof stainless steel housing. The Oldham iTrans is designed to withstand corrosion in harsh environments such as offshore drilling platforms, chemical plants or applications near a saltwater coastline.
The Oldham iTrans employs an intelligent electronics platform which provides maximum flexibility, superior performance and lower installation costs. The iTrans has a 3 or 4 wire system which allows gas sensors to be mounted onboard or remotely up to 200 meters away. The iTrans can accommodate more than 200 transmitters in a RS485 bus configuration.
The Oldham iTrans is able to monitor any combination of gases for a specific environment. The iTrans uses smart sensor technology and safety features such as automatic sensor recognition, zero and call fault protection and access code security.
The Oldham iTrans prevents accidental alarm activation during calibrations due to the relay deactivation feature. The units also feature simple non-intrusive calibration, ultra-bright LED display, programmable alarms, and on-board sensor life indicators.
