The Apollo XP95 55000-600APO is an addressable, optical smoke detector. The Apollo XP95 55000-600APO incorporates the light scatter principle. The light scatter principle is used to quickly and effectively detect a range of slow burning and smouldering fires.
The XP95 55000-600APO uses the same outer case as the ionization smoke detector, and is distinguished by the indicator LED. The LED is clear in standby and red in alarm mode. Inside the case of the Apollo XP95 55000-600APO is a printed circuit board which on one side has the light proof labyrinth chamber with integral gauze surrounding the optical measuring system and on the other the address capture, signal processing and communications electronics.
