The Auxitrol CT801 Electro pneumatic Transmitter is a corrosion resistant standalone level transmitter. The CT810 is Intrinsically safe and is loop powered from 4 up to 20 mA. The CT801 is designed to measure the level of all types of liquids in all kinds of tanks, including ballast tanks and service tanks.
The Auxitrol CT801 measures the differential pressure of a flux of air. This flux of air is directed to the bottom of the tank, and there it creates bubbles. The pressure differential in the air pipe is proportional to the level of liquid that is inside the tank. This pressure is transmitted to an electronic conditioner, including a pressure sensor, which provides an electrical analog output signal
