Autronica GLA-100 Level Sensing Unit

The Autronica GLA-100 is a Level Sensing Unit which is connected to the GLK-100 Signal Processing Unit. The GLA-100 provides a microwave planar antenna with a Transmitter and receiver electronics.

A microwave signal with a center frequency range of 10 GHz is emitted from the sensing unit and is directed as a narrow beam towards the liquid surface in the tank. A part of the signal is reflected from the liquid surface back to the antenna. The distance is calculated by the time delay of the reflected signal.
