Service Engineer.

Who are we?

Lavastica International is a rapidly growing trading company that has been supplying technical components to the maritime, offshore, and industrial sectors since 1998. In addition to supplying parts, we also provide technical service and repair. The organization has an informal culture, with a strong focus on a personal approach and short lines of communication.

Due to the growth of our service activities, we are immediately looking for a flexible service technician specializing in fire protection and (marine) electronics.

Work activities

Your workday will be varied: scheduled tasks may be interrupted at any time by urgent situations requiring immediate attention. This makes the job challenging and calls for a flexible mindset, with the ability to quickly switch between different tasks and priorities.

International projects are not uncommon, and you will spend at least 30% of your time working abroad. You will work closely with colleagues, while also being able to independently analyze and resolve issues, with the aim of ensuring the safety and continuity of installations.

What we are looking for

  • Technical education

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in electrical engineering and/or security systems

  • Flexible work attitude, willing to travel regularly

  • Good command of at least the Dutch and English languages

  • Strong communication skills

  • Presentable, eager to learn, and flexible

  • Structured and detail-oriented

  • In possession of a valid driver’s license
