Tyco MCP830M Addressable Marine Outdoor Manual Call Point (514.800.610)

The Tyco MCP830M (514.800.610) is an addressable marine outdoor manual call point. Designed to provide fast and reliable manual fire alarm activation in both marine and outdoor environments. When the glass element is broken, the internal switch immediately changes state and communicates the alarm condition to the fire alarm control panel, ensuring a rapid response in emergency situations.

Supplied with a weatherproof KAC backbox, the MCP830M is suitable for exposed installations where protection against harsh environmental conditions is essential. Furthermore, the call point features an integrated short circuit isolator that continuously monitors the loop wiring. If a short circuit occurs, the isolator automatically disconnects the affected section while allowing the rest of the loop to remain operational. As a result, system reliability is maintained, and there is no need to install a separate isolator device.

In addition, the MCP830M is fully resettable and can be tested at any time using the supplied test key. Simply use the key to operate the mechanism, verify correct functionality, and then reset the unit without replacing the glass element. Meanwhile, the integrated LED provides clear visual indication, illuminating red during an alarm condition and yellow when the short circuit isolator has activated.
