Tyco 601FEx IR Intrinsically Safe Flame Detector 516.600.066

The Tyco 601FEx (516.600.066) is a conventional intrinsically safe flame detector designed for reliable flame detection in hazardous areas. As part of the Tyco 600 Series, it uses solar-blind infrared technology to detect flames quickly while providing excellent immunity to false alarms caused by sunlight and other interference sources.

Designed for indoor applications, the 601FEx can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres when installed as part of a certified intrinsically safe system with a suitable isolator or safety barrier. In addition, it can detect a 0.1m² fire at distances of up to 20 metres, making it ideal for marine, offshore, industrial, and hazardous-area environments.
