Tyco 601FEX-M Intrinsically Safe Point Flame Detector 516.600.067

The Tyco 601FEx-M (516.600.067) is a conventional intrinsically safe flame detector designed for reliable flame detection in marine and hazardous environments. Part of the Tyco 600 Series, it uses solar-blind infrared technology to detect flames quickly while providing excellent immunity to false alarms caused by sunlight and other sources of interference.

Designed for indoor use, the 601FEx-M is approved for marine applications and can be installed in hazardous areas when used as part of a certified intrinsically safe system with a suitable isolator or safety barrier. In addition, it can detect a 0.1m² fire at distances of up to 20 metres, providing fast and dependable fire detection in critical areas.
