Tyco CCU3/C-MXMB MODBUS Interface Module (557.202.046)

The Tyco CCU3/C-MXMB (557.202.046) provides a MODBUS interface for connecting MX fire alarm panels to an MXNet network, enabling seamless integration with building management and monitoring systems. By linking multiple MX panels through a single interface, it allows users to access system information, monitor status, and control inputs and outputs from a central location.

Furthermore, the module supports RS232, RS485, and RS422 serial communications, providing flexible integration options for a wide range of applications. It connects to MX panels via a TLI-800 (TPI) interface card and can support up to eight CCU/IO expansion modules.

In addition, each CCU/IO module provides eight supervised inputs and eight relay outputs, allowing engineers to monitor field devices and control external equipment directly through the MODBUS interface. The module also supports MODBUS mapping with up to 320 registers (5120 bits), making it easy to exchange system status, alarms, and I/O information with third-party systems.
