The MEDC XB9 is a weatherproof beacon designed to provide reliable visual warning signals in hazardous areas and harsh industrial environments. Suitable for both onshore and offshore installations, it combines a lightweight design with excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for demanding applications where long-term durability is essential.

MEDC manufactures the beacon housing, including the flame paths, from UV-stable glass reinforced polyester (GRP). As a result, the XB9 delivers outstanding resistance to corrosion and environmental exposure, even in challenging marine and offshore conditions. Furthermore, MEDC incorporates stainless steel screws and a mounting bracket to create a completely corrosion-free assembly.

In addition, the XB9 is available with a range of lens colours and features a replaceable flash tube, helping engineers simplify maintenance and reduce downtime. Customers can also specify custom paint finishes and identification labels to meet project requirements and site standards.
