The MEDC SM87HXB is a weatherproof beacon designed to provide reliable visual alarm indication in demanding industrial and hazardous environments. Suitable for both onshore and offshore installations, it combines a lightweight yet durable design with excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for applications where strength, reliability, and long service life are essential.

MEDC manufactures the SM87HXB using either stainless steel or marine-grade alloy, allowing the beacon to withstand harsh environmental conditions while maintaining excellent mechanical strength. As a result, it performs reliably in corrosive marine, oil & gas, and industrial environments.

Furthermore, the SM87HXB is available in both xenon and LED versions, giving engineers the flexibility to select the most suitable technology for their application. The LED version offers extended service life and reduced maintenance requirements, while the xenon version provides a powerful visual warning signal. In addition, MEDC offers a high-temperature model capable of operating in ambient temperatures of up to 85°C.

Customers can also specify custom paint finishes and identification labels to meet project requirements and site standards.
