MEDC DB12/XB13 Exd(e), heavy duty industrial & marine, weather-proof Combination Unit

The MEDC DB12/XB13 is a weather-proof combined Sounder/Beacon.

MEDC DB12/XB13 Combined Sounder Beacon

The MEDC DB12/XB13 combines a high-performance sounder and flashing beacon into a single weatherproof unit, providing both audible and visual warning signals for hazardous and industrial environments. Designed for onshore, offshore, marine, and industrial applications, it delivers reliable alarm notification in locations where clear warning indication is critical.

Furthermore, MEDC mounts the sounder and beacon assembly onto a robust epoxy-painted stainless steel back plate, creating a durable and corrosion-resistant solution suitable for harsh operating conditions. The unit is also pre-wired so that a single input activates both the sounder and beacon simultaneously, simplifying installation and reducing wiring requirements.

In addition, MEDC offers versions suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres as well as dedicated models for challenging industrial and marine environments. As a result, engineers can deploy the DB12/XB13 across a wide range of safety and alarm applications.
