The Apollo XPander Sounder and Mounting Base – White (XPA-CB-14002-APO) provides reliable wireless audible alarm notification while also serving as a mounting base for compatible XPander detectors. Designed for use with Apollo XPander detectors and manual call points, it offers a flexible solution for fire detection systems where conventional cabling is difficult or costly to install.

Using Apollo’s bi-directional monitored radio platform, the device continuously communicates with the fire alarm system to ensure reliable operation and ongoing supervision. As a result, the control panel can monitor device status at all times while noting wireless devices as standard addresses, making system configuration and management easier.

In addition, the sounder offers a choice of 32 selectable alarm tones, allowing installers to tailor alarm signals to the specific requirements of the site. Depending on the selected tone, the unit delivers an audible output of between 92 and 106 dB(A) at 1 metre, providing clear and effective alarm coverage in a wide range of environments.

Furthermore, the integrated audible self-test function enables engineers to verify sounder operation quickly during commissioning, routine testing, and maintenance procedures.
