The Apollo XP95 Multi-Tone Open-Area Sounder (55000-279APO) is a loop-powered audible alarm device designed for indoor Type A applications. Featuring a white housing, the sounder provides reliable fire alarm notification in open areas and integrates seamlessly with Apollo XP95 and Discovery addressable fire alarm systems.
The 55000-279APO connects directly to the addressable loop and requires no external power supply. Operating at 18-28V DC, it delivers a nominal sound output of 100dB(A) while drawing only 5mA from the loop. The sounder supports multiple alarm tones, synchronised operation, and flexible addressing options, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational environments.
