Apollo XP95 Beacon Base with Isolator (Part No. 45681-333APO)
The Apollo XP95 Beacon Base with Isolator (45681-333APO) combines a loop-powered visual indicator with a standard intelligent mounting base, providing clear visual fire alarm notification for enclosed areas. The device can operate with a compatible detector installed or with a cap fitted, allowing it to function as a stand-alone alarm device when required.
The 45681-333APO draws power directly from the loop and operates between 17V and 28V DC, eliminating the need for an external power supply. In addition, the built-in short-circuit isolator helps maintain loop integrity by isolating faulty sections of the circuit, reducing the impact of wiring faults on the wider fire detection system.
The base supports individual, group, and synchronisation addressing, allowing users to create flexible visual alarm strategies. By regularly transmitting the synchronisation address, the control panel keeps all connected beacon bases operating in unison, ensuring consistent visual alarm indication throughout the protected area.
Key Features
- Loop-powered beacon base
- Built-in short-circuit isolator
- Operates with or without a detector fitted
- Visual indicator flash rate of once per second
- Synchronised beacon flashing
- Individual and group addressing
- Unique visual indicator self-test
- Intelligent mounting base design
- Operates from 17V to 28V DC
- No external power supply required
Device Addressing
The 45681-333APO supports multiple addressing methods to provide maximum system flexibility:
- Individual addressing using DIL switch settings
- Group addressing for simultaneous activation of multiple devices
- Built-in synchronisation address for flash synchronisation
- Individual addresses: 1 to 111
- Group addresses: 112 to 126
- Synchronisation address: 0
When the control panel transmits the synchronisation address, all connected beacon bases align their internal timing, ensuring all visual indicators flash simultaneously.
