MEDC DB20C Exde, weather-proof Ceiling Speaker

The MEDC DB20C is a weather-proof Ceiling-Mounted Speaker that is designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. This MEDC Speaker has a power rating of up to 8 watts. The DB20C is suitable for use in demanding environmental conditions to be found onshore and offshore in oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

This MEDC Speaker has a lightweight and patented design that provides self-supporting and self-locking mounting onto a ceiling tile from 0.5 to 55mm thick. This Speaker is held in the mount via a twist-fit support and locking grille, giving access from above or below and allowing first fit of either ceiling or speakers.

The DB20C has a compact design that will fit a ceiling cavity of limited space and its aesthetically pleasing appearance will enhance the surroundings.
