The Viking VELS Evacuation System and Solas MiniSlide are designed to increase flexiblity in evacuation capacity for medium and low embarkation deck heights. The independent slide and liferaft gives increased storage flexibility. The Solas MiniSlide has added an unique descent safety brake cushion that safely brakes the descent of the evacuee.
