The Klaxon Syrex IS Sounder is an intrinsically safe Sounder fitted with 6 high intensity LEDs and a prismatic lens for effective visual warning in hazardous area applications. The Klaxon Syrex IS needs to be used with a suitable zener barrier whose output parameters do not exceed Vo 28V DC, Io 93mA, Po 660mW or from any galvanic isolator specified by the system certificates.

The Klaxon Syrex IS Sounder can be used independently or fitted with a Sounder to form a Sounder Beacon combination. These units can utilise a common zener barrier or galvanic isolator.
