The Ro-Ro/Passenger vessel Jetliner previously had a Servoteknikk BMS-904 fire detection system on board. This system and its spare parts are now obsolete. Lavastica offered a solution to upgrade the system and kept the costs as low as possible for the customer. By using the Consilium Salwico Cargo system, we were able to maintain 6 of the existing 7 loops of the system. Only one loop is replaced with new detectors. The old detectors that came off can be used as spare parts for the remaining 6 old loops. In this way, the customer can spread the replacement costs over a longer period of time, by replacing one loop at a time. Lavastica has proved again to be a good partner in cost effective solutions for its customer.
