COSL Semi-submersible rig HYSY 982 – Hernis camera upgrade
The semi-submersible drilling rig Hai Yang Shi You (HYSY) 982, under the ownership of China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) and currently operating for ENI since its delivery in 2016, underwent an upgrade for its explosion-proof camera system. In pursuit of this enhancement, COSL engaged Lavastica, seeking their expertise and solutions to ensure the optimal performance and safety of the rig's camera system for its latest operation.
The semi-submersible drilling rig Hai Yang Shi You (HYSY) 982, which is owned by China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) was delivered in 2016 and is now operating for ENI. For this latest operation, COSL required an upgrade of their explosion proof camera system and that is where Lavastica was contacted. After consulting with the client, we have been able to supply new Hernis EX286 explosion proof PTZ camera stations with full options, such as heating, an explosion proof pump, wiper and the unique Hernis cables.
