Saipem contacted Lavastica International B.V. for a renewing project of the A0 Class, marine approved roller shutters on board of pipelay barge Castoro 10. After a period of engineering and design, Lavastica was awarded the order to supply these custom made roller shutters. At readiness, the customer requested a modification of one of the roller shutters. This formed a challenge due to the lack of time.  Lavastica was able to supply an adjustment kit to change the specific shutter to the requested size within a few days and could deliver the parts in time.
