Scott Safety Spyglass Open Path Combustible Gas Detector

The Scott Safety Spyglass is an Open Path Combustible Gas Detector. The system consists of 2 units which can replace 20 line of sight point Gas Detectors. The Scott Safety Spyglass Gas Detector can detect hydrocarbon gases by analyzing the absorption of radiation that is caused by gases in the atmosphere. Then, the Spyglass compares it to background atmospheric absorption. This is accomplished by a Flash source and a Detector that can monitor a distance of up to 200 meters.
