The Oldham OLCT 80 is a wireless gas transmitter designed to detect flammable gases, toxic gases, oxygen (Oâ‚‚), refrigerant gases, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in hazardous environments. With support for wireless communication in ATEX Zone 1 areas, it provides a flexible gas detection solution while reducing installation costs associated with traditional cabling.
Furthermore, the OLCT 80 is available in remote, flameproof, and intrinsically safe versions, allowing engineers to select the most suitable configuration for their application. As a result, the transmitter can be deployed across a wide range of industrial environments, including oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, and processing installations.
In addition, the OLCT 80 uses a robust wireless mesh network that supports up to 49 devices per network. Combined with a communication range of up to 3km line-of-sight, this enables reliable gas monitoring over large areas while maintaining network redundancy and flexibility.
