The Tyco 801FEx (516.800.066.P) is an addressable intrinsically safe flame detector designed to deliver fast, reliable flame detection in hazardous and high-risk environments. Using advanced solar-blind infrared technology, it quickly identifies flames while maintaining exceptional immunity to false alarms caused by sunlight and other interference sources.

Designed for indoor applications, the 801FEx can detect a 0.1m² fire at distances of up to 20 metres, providing rapid response and dependable protection. Furthermore, its intrinsically safe design makes it suitable for use in hazardous areas, while its compatibility with standard MZX detector bases simplifies installation and maintenance.
