The Apollo Orbis Marine Multisensor with Flashing LED (ORB-OH-43003-MAR) combines optical smoke detection and heat sensing in a single detector, providing reliable fire detection for marine environments. Using separate smoke and heat sensors, the detector constantly monitors both fire indicators and can initiate an alarm based on smoke, heat, or a combination of both, making overall detection performance better.
Building on the proven false alarm reduction technology of the Orbis Optical Detector, the addition of a thermal sensing element enhances the detector’s ability to respond to a wider range of fire types, including fast-burning, flaming fires. At the same time, advanced signal processing helps reduce unwanted alarms and improve detection reliability.
The detector features a modern, low-profile design and a specially designed sensing chamber that helps prevent dust and other airborne contaminants from entering the detector. Combined with its high humidity tolerance of up to 98% RH and wide operating temperature range, the ORB-OH-43003-MAR delivers reliable performance in demanding marine applications.
