The Consilium Salwico EV-SPB-IS (N1422) provides a safe interface for installing intrinsically safe smoke detectors within both addressable and conventional Salwico fire alarm systems. Designed specifically for challenging environments, the adapter allows approved intrinsically safe detectors to be integrated into the fire detection system while staying within the explosion protection requirements.

The adapter is designed for use with the Salwico NS-2IP55 (46900) and also the 2IP55 (46950) detector bases and supports only the Salwico EVC-PY-IS intrinsically safe optical smoke detector. This dedicated design helps ensure safe and reliable operation in applications where intrinsically safe equipment is required.

Furthermore, the EV-SPB-IS makes installation easier by providing a solution for the EVC-PY-IS detector.
