Consilium Salwico NS-AOHS N11242 Optical Smoke/Heat Detector

The Consilium Salwico NS-AOHS (N11242) combines advanced smoke and heat detection technologies in a single analogue addressable multisensor detector. Designed for use with the Salwico CS3000, CS4000, and NSAC-1 Fire Alarm Systems, it provides fast and reliable fire detection while helping to reduce unwanted alarms.

The detector continuously monitors its surroundings using two independent sensing elements. An optical smoke sensor quickly identifies smoke particles, while a heat sensing element monitors temperature changes and responds when temperatures reach the detector’s fixed alarm threshold of 84°C. By combining these technologies, the NS-AOHS delivers enhanced fire detection performance across a wide range of applications.

Furthermore, the detector reacts quickly to developing fire conditions and transmits alarm information directly to the fire alarm control panel, enabling operators to respond without delay.

When the NS-AOHS detects an alarm condition, it immediately activates its red LED indicator, allowing personnel to quickly locate the activated detector. The LED remains illuminated until the fire alarm system resets the alarm, helping maintenance and emergency personnel identify the source of the alarm event.
