Consilium Salwico NS-AOS N11111 Optical Smoke Detector

The Consilium Salwico NS-AOS (N11111) is an analogue addressable optical smoke detector designed for use with Salwico addressable fire alarm systems. It provides reliable early warning of smoke and developing fire conditions, helping to protect personnel and property in marine, offshore, and industrial environments.

Furthermore, the detector features simple address configuration via an integrated DIP switch located on the rear of the unit. This allows engineers to quickly assign detector addresses during installation and commissioning.

When the NS-AOS enters an alarm condition, a red LED indicator illuminates to provide clear visual confirmation of the alarm. The LED remains lit until the alarm is reset from the fire alarm control panel, ensuring that activated detectors can be easily identified.

In addition, the NS-AOS is polarity independent, simplifying wiring and reducing the risk of installation errors. The detector also includes a remote output that can be used to connect external devices such as remote LED indicators or buzzers, providing additional alarm indication where required.
