Apollo XPander A1R Heat Detector (XPA-HT-11170-APO)

The Apollo XPander A1R Heat Detector (XPA-HT-11170-APO) is a wireless rate-of-rise heat detector designed for use with Apollo XPander fire alarm systems. The detector monitors both the temperature and the speed at which the temperature increases, making it able to detect developing fires earlier than a standard fixed temperature heat detector.

In addition to its fixed upper temperature limit, the A1R heat detector responds to rapid increases in temperature, making it suitable for areas where smoke detectors may be unsuitable. This makes the detector particularly effective in environments where dust, steam, or smoke are present during normal operation.
