The Apollo Discovery Marine Waterproof Manual Call Point with Isolator (58100-976MAR) provides reliable manual fire alarm activation for marine and offshore environments. Approved for outdoor marine applications, the call point combines robust environmental protection with intelligent addressable functionality, making it fitting for use on vessels, Offshore platforms, and other challenging maritime installations.
Designed for operation on Apollo Discovery addressable fire alarm systems, the call point uses a seven-segment DIL switch for addressing during commissioning. When activated, the device interrupts the normal polling cycle, making the fire alarm control panel able to receive the alarm signal in less than 0.2 seconds for rapid response.
The integrated short-circuit isolator helps maintain loop integrity by isolating wiring faults, improving overall system reliability. In addition, bi coloured LEDs provide clear indication of normal and isolator conditions, making maintenance personnel able to quickly assess device status.
Based on the proven KAC conventional MCP range, the 58100-976MAR remains both electronically and mechanically compatible with previous Apollo manual call points based on the KAC World Series design.
